We periodically have positions available on our team for individuals with a strong sense of customer service and good communication and technical skills. We are looking for people with good self learning abilities and will provide detailed training on the products, processes, and procedures which are specific to our home furnishings business.
Positions available
Position: Home furnishings Sales and Design
Description: If you would enjoy helping our customers find the best solutions for their furnishings and design needs, consider a satisfying professional career in residential or commercial home furnishings sales. Compensation is a combination of salary, sales commission, and self improvement incentives to reward you for your individual performance. Normal work hours are 8:40 AM to 5:30PM 5 days per week. Like most retail businesses we are open everyday except Christmas and Thanksgiving, and the best commission incentive earnings potential normally involves working at least one of the weekend days with one or both of your days off mid week. Sunday hours are 11:40 AM to 5:00 PM. Other part time schedules are available in the 30 to 40 hour per week range.
Requirements: The position requires good interpersonal communication, customer service, and self management skills. Prior selling experience with furniture, floor coverings, or related products is preferred, but not required. Some post secondary education with coursework in Art, Design, or Home Economics is preferred. A valid drivers license and good driving record is needed for occasional design visits to residential and commercial sites. Some computer background and the ability to type at least 30 wpm is desirable, since our sales and operations are fully computerized.

Position: Delivery & Warehouse
Description: Join our Warehouse and Delivery team assisting us with freight receiving, warehousing, product assembly and preparation, in home delivery, and building maintenance.
Requirements: The position requires the ability to safely lift and carry 70 pound items both in the store and in customer's homes. Prior woodworking experience, good communication skills and a clean driving record are preferred.
